The CIRCUS Independent Food & Drink Awards 2020 WILL go ahead!

President Signs Executive Order

After a period of uncertainty, we have decided that this year more than ever, the hardworking businesses in the area’s food and drink sector should be celebrated, and so the CIRCUS Independent Food & Drink Awards 2020 WILL go ahead.

This year, however, there a couple of changes. We have cut some of last years categories that are not relevant in 2020 and included new ones to celebrate the Food and Drink Heroes of Lockdown.

The judges this year are YOU, the food and drink loving public! We will open up the first round of online voting on Sunday 17th October, so keep an eye on our CIRCUS Magazine Community Foodie Group on Facebook and our Facebook Business Page for the announcement.

On Sunday 24th October the top 4 businesses in each category will be announced and the second round of voting will open up.

The winners will be determined by the People’s Popular Vote, thus meaning that the business with the most votes will be the winner. Voting closes on Friday 29th October.

Winners will be announced on Sunday 31st October on our CIRCUS Community and Business Pages on Facebook.

Winners (plus one) will be invited to Blossom Room on Monday 9th November where you will receive a complimentary drink and platter of food for two and to receive your award and mark the occasion. There will be table service and social distancing measure in place. (This is, of course, all dependent on the Covid measures and restrictions at that time.)
